Tony becomes a Prescribing Pharmacist

Following completion of his post-graduate University qualification, we are delighted to announce that our resident pharmacist, Tony, has now qualified as an Independent Prescribing (IP) Pharmacist.

Tony successfully completed over 100 hours of prescriber experience, attended NHS training course to learn new diagnostic skills, and completed the required modules as part of the University programme to earn his qualification.

This is a huge step forward for Dalmuir Pharmacy, enabling Tony to prescribe for common conditions and help support patients without necessarily having to see their GP.
